BIO
Treslyn E. Davenport is a New Orleans native and focuses her practice on civil litigation. Her experience entails professional liability, premises liability, automobile accidents, workers’ compensation, and products liability. She has litigated matters in state court and federal court. Treslyn has also handled appeals in state and federal court, including the Louisiana Supreme Court. Treslyn prioritizes strong work ethic, communication, personal service, and attention to detail to develop solutions for her clients.
She obtained her Bachelor of Art in Political Science, Pre-Law with a minor in Sociology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in May 2020, magna cum laude. Treslyn then obtained her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in May 2023, cum laude, graduating in the top 18% of her class. While in law school, Treslyn was a student advisor and a research assistant, in which she researched legal topics for a bar journal including confidentiality clauses in settlement agreements, breach of contracts and settlement agreements, and breach remedies. She also obtained her mediation certification while in law school.
Treslyn was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in October 2023. Treslyn successfully passed the Uniform Bar Exam in July 2024, in which she is positioned to be licensed in seven additional states.
In her free time, Treslyn enjoys traveling, Pilates, playing tennis, and spending time with her family.
